TESTIMONIALS
We had been driving through a neighborhood for years, Tim had developed, and we had absolutely fallen in love with the houses.
When we decided to relocate and build a new home, we gave Tim, Classic Construction & Remodel, a call. After meeting with him, we knew we wanted Classic Construction & Remodel to build our new home.
Tim was able to draw out the plans we wanted by what we described and he offered many suggestions that made our home perfect for us.
We look forward to an upcoming addition before too long. We definitely will be in touch with Classic Construction & Remodel for that.

We have built three custom homes over the past 38 years. Working with Tim Seymour and Classic Construction & Remodeling was by far the best experience of all three. Tim and his staff were personable, professional, did quality work, and, best of all, easy to work with. They were quick to respond to the inevitable hiccups that cropped up on a project of this size. We especially appreciated the suggestions they made for our project based on their years of experience. They saved us from ourselves on several occasions. While Tim's project manager, lead carpenters and cabinet builders/installers work directly for Tim, he does rely on subs (grading/clearing, foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, tile work, etc.) who he uses on a permanent basis. All but two of the subs were excellent and did quality work. We found the lack of attention to detail by the painters and the tiler to be disappointing. To Tim's credit he understood our disappointment and had his employees finish the work. They did a far better job. We give Tim Seymour and Classic Construction and Remodeling our highest recommendation.

Tim Seymour and his crew from Classic Construction & Remodel completely transformed the bathroom in my house, and they did so with care and professionalism. I had gotten estimates from another contractor, but it was clear from my interactions with him that he looked at my project as a problem: my house was rather old and the bathroom was a disaster, with ancient plumbing and a rotten sub-floor that was likely going to require repair or replacement. Nor did he offer me any help in thinking about what I might want to do with the new bathroom in terms of tile, fixtures, paint, or flooring -- I was completely on my own, and as a single man with a demanding schedule, I didn't have time to educate myself in the bewildering array of possibilities for remodeling a bathroom. But when I found Tim Seymour, that all changed: Not only did Tim appreciate my house for its unique style, but he made terrific suggestions about how I might want to redo the bathroom in a way that would match the architecture, and he helped provide me with a number of suggestions about materials and other components of the project. He was also completely up front about the likelihood of having to rebuild the sub-floor, and in fact when the floorboards came up and we saw the extent of the deterioration, Tim's prediction about what we were going to find turned out to be precisely correct, and because he'd been honest about that and built it into his estimate, it didn't alter the final price by a penny. The actual project was done on the timetable Tim had originally provided me with, and the members of Tim's crew were absolutely first-rate: I left them every morning to go to work, and when I came home they were finishing up and took time to show me what they'd done and cleaned up so I could continue living comfortably in my house. They were pleasant and professional, and I felt completely secure leaving my house in their hands. In the end, I have a bathroom now that complements the rest of my house (and wows my friends and family), and I've asked Tim to provide me with an estimate on the next part of the house that I'm planning to renovate. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience working with Classic Construction & Remodel, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Classic Construction has done a number of projects for us, most recently a kitchen remodel that involved removing a supporting wall.
Tim Seymour, CC's owner, is a structural engineer and also has his own cabinet shop.
For these reasons, he does very little sub-contracting and is able to give an accurate estimate pretty much on site (his estimate was in line with others we received that took several weeks to be prepared).
Tim has a good sense of design as well and always has ideas and suggestions for things that you might not have considered, unlike other contractors who offered little design input.
Tim is also very responsive if you show him examples of what you want. For instance, his cabinet shop was able to replicate an unusual hood vent cover that I found on Houzz.
Tim and his crew are easy to work with. When unexpected challenges arise with the project, Tim is able to roll with them without adding to your contract price.
This was the fourth time we had hired, CC. Other projects they did for us include: interior construction of the second story of our home (master bedroom, bathroom and attic bonus room/study): building a deck; renovating an existing bathroom; moving our washer/dryer from main floor closet to basement with corresponding plumbing and electrical work).
I will also add that we have an older home (built circa 1948) and Tim is very appreciative of and sensitive to maintaining a consistent style throughout the older and newer parts of the house.
